IT Network Security:
The role involves but not limited to manage, oversee and lead the daily operations of the IT Network Security;
Provide day-to-day support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving service incidents on the network and security issue, KPI to be based on SLA standards for customers under coverage;
Proper case management and handling, from acceptance to closure, upon acceptance of assigned support cases;
Proactive monitoring, support and troubleshoot network bandwidth capacity and network performance to ensure uninterrupted services;
Perform appliance upgrades and migration to ensure solutions and or related platform are maintained in operational conditions with proper documentation;
Coordinate and manage local and regional ISP on maintenance, changes, and implementation of WAN (Internet).
MSP Helpdesk support
- Provide on-going application support and may be involved in various stages of the SDLC for Business Application and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
- Plan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancements.
- Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
- Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
- Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
- Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support.
- Ensure the calls are answer and emails are responded in a timely manner and log the tickets.
- Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to the right channel.
- Maintaining asset management (Software Licensing / Asset Inventory).
- Handle initial classification / prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.
- Manage end point security.
The successful candidate should possess the followings:
- Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Cyber Security or Engineering related fields
- Experience and good knowledge in security technologies, including firewall, IDS & IPS, VPN, MPLS, BGP, etc
- Professional Certification and at least 5 years’ hands on experience in routing & switching preferred CCNP, CCIE, CCDP, CEH or Cyber related certification is a plus
- Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Hands on experience in one or more of the following brand as below:-
• Routing & Switching - Cisco / Huawei/ major brands
• Firewall – Sophos / Fortigate / Palo Alto / Forcepoint
• WIFI AP - Ruckus / Aruba / Ubiquiti
