Production Supervisor
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7.45 a.m. to 7.45 p.m.
If work on Friday & Saturday considered OT
- Location: Tuas
- Salary: up to $3000 + quarterly bonus depends on company and individual performance
Requirement:
- Diploma in any field with minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in production.
Job Scope:
A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to Production Manager.
B. General Department Overview – The incumbent works closely with Production Manager on
matter of manpower resource planning, production schedule, machine trouble-shooting, raw
material (resins, chemical) inventory control. The incumbent will share and provide input to
Production Manager to drive continuous improvement in production productivity, efficiency,
cost saving, waste reduction as well as project planning.
C. Areas of Responsibility
(i)
People Management
• Supervise and lead production team in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Enforce production employee work Discipline, and resolve employee's work-related
problems.
• Lead team to achieve Departmental productivity and quality goals by ensuring high quality
products are produced at the optimal operation resource in a timely manner.
• Conduct manpower resource planning to ensure and flex manpower resource to meet the
dynamic customer delivery requirement.
• Conduct employee orientation and training
• Conduct daily shift meeting, and stand-down (whenever required) to production team in
regards to production matters, safety, quality or any information that is passed down by the
management.
• Coach and provide career development to production team
• Establish team performance metrics, assess, review and communicate staff performance.
Motivate and drive teamwork.
• Timely update manpower attendance records onto Opensoft system

Daily Operations
• Ensure products are manufactured according to SOP, and to cGMP & ISO 13485 standards
• Ensure accurate & timely reporting of production and material usage, and ensure proper
communication among shifts
• SAP system is the core system used in the Company. The incumbent is required to learn to
use the system for his/her day-to-day operation usage
• Ensure line clearance is practiced to prevent mix-up
• Ensure proper documentation and records in accordance to cGMP standard for traceability.
• Meet production schedule and ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time
• Coordinate with QA / QC on any shortage or quality issues with regards to raw packaging
materials
• Coordinate with warehouse on materials issuance
• Ensure proper machining setup & identify machine for servicing / repair as and needed.
• Investigate non-conformance and provide corrective actions
• Provide timely update of daily production output to Production Manager
(iii)
Workplace Safety & 5S
• Promotes and ensures workplace Safety, good 5S (proper housekeeping) on the production
floor
• Identify and correct any unsafe acts / conditions
• Handles and escalates near miss and accidents to Production Manager
• Evaluate and identify machines / processes for any negative impact on Environmental and
Safety
• Minimize and reduce waste and scrap
