Job Scope of Finance Manager
About the Role:
The Finance Manager manages the day-to-day financial operations of the school. This role is critical in supporting our financial health and ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth operational flow.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, etc.
· Process payment for invoices, staff claims and payroll in a timely manner
· Manage revenue collection
· Perform month-end and year-end close processes
· Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
· Prepare financial reports, such as income and expenditure statements, balance sheets, etc.
· Provide support for financial audit
· Prepare financial reporting for management
· Review existing business processes and control environment and make recommendations for improvements
Candidate Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in accountancy / Finance / ACCA qualification.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
· Finance experience in a school environment will be an advantage
· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Team player, meticulous, organised and able to meet deadlines.
