Job Posting: Principal Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Mentorship:Lead and mentor a team of engineers in preparing, checking, and submitting drawings, catalogues, and calculations for new and ongoing projects.
  Mentor junior staff and proactively address issues affecting project delivery.
  
• Engineering Deliverables:Develop bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
  Create method statements and conduct risk analysis studies.
  
• Representation and Project Execution:Represent the company at technical meetings with clients, stakeholders, professionals, and contractor teams.
  Execute projects in alignment with general, particular, and technical specifications.
  
• Communication and Coordination:Facilitate effective communication among engineering, technical, construction, and project control teams.
  Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
  
• Quality Assurance:Monitor and conduct quality checks on progressive work completion.
  Inspect installations and operations to ensure compliance with design, equipment specifications, and safety standards.
  
• Documentation and Reporting:Prepare calculation reports, technical notes, and review submissions from team members.
  

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board of Singapore.
• Certifications: Licensed Electrical Worker or Professional Engineer License preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in electrical installations in industrial plants.
• Specialization: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering requirements for power plants, substations, and high-voltage infrastructure, particularly in heavy industrial projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Singapore codes of practice and international standards.
• Attributes: Positive working attitude, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership abilities, interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
