Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in optimization, learning in games, and reinforcement learning.
- Develop novel algorithms and theoretical frameworks to advance the understanding of these fields.
- Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
- Collaborate with faculty, graduate students, and other researchers on related projects.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, and other academic activities within the department.
- Mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students.
Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background and research experience in stochastic optimization, game theory, and reinforcement learning.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in leading academic venues.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
