1. Introduction
The Embassy of United Arab Emirates (Health Office) is hiring a full-time Chauffeur.
The primary duties are as follows:
- Provide a smooth and pleasant journey, ensuring the safe journey of all passengers on board in the official vehicle.
- Assists with guests/patients’ luggage for both arrival and departing guests/patients. This includes proper handling, tagging, and delivering of luggage within the prescribed time standards
- Ferry guests by the shortest and swiftest route unless otherwise requested by guest to use alternative routes.
- Oversee administrative duties with the official vehicles, such as despatch and mail collection;
- Oversee the maintenance, cleaning, upkeep, and safety of the Embassy’s official vehicles.
2. Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- High school or diploma equivalent academic qualification.
- Proficiency in Speaking/Reading/Writing for English.
- Three years of relevant working experience including commercial driving is preferred.
Skills
- Excellent familiarity with Singapore roads, hotels, and all airport terminals and ability to navigate the roads.
Other Requirements
- Able to support the Embassy after working hours, on weekends and public holidays, when required.
