Our Client in the Government sector is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Service and Compliance Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating security and compliance solutions for enterprise applications and databases in data centers and cloud services, ensuring adherence to IT policies.
Job responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and hands-on implementation in the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of logs, patch, vulnerability, and configuration management, utilizing enterprise platforms and technologies.
- Conduct annual IT compliance reviews, covering IT policies, localized IT security-related policies, IT processes, and technical reviews of critical systems and infrastructure.
- Review IT findings/issues from compliance reviews, assess the overall state of IT services, and develop mitigation plans to address gaps and enhance ICT governance and risk management.
- Plan and conduct regular internal control and compliance reviews as per stipulated frequencies based on corporate IT security policies.
- Review and explore market policies and practices, introducing best practices to strengthen IT risk management and compliance within the company.
- Communicate common IT issues and findings to stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- At least two (2) years of experience in one or more security and compliance technologies and products, such as vulnerability assessment or logs management.
- Product certification in one or more of the industry toolset and platform is advantageous
- Familiarity with IT compliance standards in a variety of technical environments, including Windows and Linux, is advantageous
- Experience in IT audit is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IM8 or equivalent ICT policies is advantageous
