Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Setting: Private Therapy Centre
Location: Central
Working Hours: Mon-Fri (9am-6pm)
We are seeking a pediatric occupational therapist to join our client's wonderful team. Responsibilities:
- To conduct initial assessments both informally through clinical observations, and formally via standardised assessments
- Ideally knowledge of the following assessments: sensory profile, VMI, BOT-2, Movement ABC, DASH
- Setting and reviewing goals for intervention
- Providing ongoing intervention on a 1-1 basis
- Providing ongoing intervention in a group setting
- To provide small group therapy within our early intervention program Ready Let’s Go
- Provide verbal and written feedback to parents on a regular basis
- To provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into the clients’ daily lives
- To work as part of a team
Requirements:
- Degree recognised by AHPC - Occupational Therapy is a MUST.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience and registered with AHPC.
- Candidate will lesser than 4 years of experience will still be considered
- New graduates will also be considered and supervised under AHPC
In terms of compensation, the position offers a base salary ranging from $6000 to $8000, depending on your prior experience in Occupational Therapy.
