- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop production plans and schedules for shipbuilding and repair projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to evaluate the viability and cost-effectiveness of production methods and processes.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as necessary to ensure project milestones are met.
- Coordinate with procurement and admin team to ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for production activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to safety, environmental protection, and quality management systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production workers.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field..
- Proven experience in production engineering or manufacturing management, preferably in the marine industry or a related heavy industry sector.
- Strong knowledge of shipbuilding processes, equipment, and materials, including welding, machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on results.
