Job Description: General Manager (Food and Beverage)
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for the F&B department in alignment with the overall goals of the organization.
- Overseeing all aspects of the F&B operations, including menu planning, food preparation, service standards, and inventory management.
- Managing and leading a team of F&B staff, including chefs, servers, and bartenders, to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality ingredients and products.
- Monitoring and analyzing F&B performance metrics, such as sales, costs, and profitability, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and sanitary F&B environment.
- Developing and implementing training programs for F&B staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to drive F&B revenue and profitability.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in F&B management, with a track record of success in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Knowledge of F&B trends, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in computer software, such as MS Office and F&B management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on achieving results.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
