Roles & Responsibilities
· Should have knowledge and experience in South Indian dishes.
· Should be able to handle large orders without any hindrance, need to plan, check the ingredients are available for next day food preparation.
· To cook high quality traditional authentic South Indian food, especially to prepare Chettinadu varieties of dishes.
· Preparation, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty.
· Prepping and preparing food materials (mixing dough and flour, preparing and cutting vegetables,etc.)
· Cooking and baking in the tandoor.
· Cooking kebabs and tikka (chicken,lamb, paneer)
· Assist with stock ordering and monitoring procedures.
· Need to understand the customer requirements, as per order.
· Should have knowledge in using various spices and herbs in preparing dishes.
· A deep understanding of preparation of ingredients of dishes.
· Able to clean, house keep and wash used utensils, incase of need.
· Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times
