Job Description & Requirement:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Design and execute test cases to validate API functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, report, and track defects to resolution using issue tracking systems.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of the testing process, including test automation strategies and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automated testing and API testing methodologies.
Requirements:
- Possess hands-on QA testing experience.
- Strong experience in SQL queries (preferably in Oracle).
- Experience in preparing test cases and executing SIT.
- Track and report defects to developers for fixes.
- Support and work with users on UAT and pre-production testing.
Skillset (Good to have)
- Knowledge of web services (e.g., REST API) and hands-on experience using Postman.
- Knowledge of job scheduling agents like Control-M, Windows Scheduler etc
