Position Overview:
As the Managing Director, you will report directly to our Founder and CEO and take full accountability for driving business growth in our existing and targeted new growth markets. Our MD will have a unique opportunity to shape and deliver our growth strategy and lead continued expansion of our business in the region.
The MD will be entirely accountable for delivering the company’s regional GTM/sales strategy and targets across the region and will have direct responsibility for revenue growth from both new and existing customers. To help deliver this, they will further develop and instil a rigorous and data-driven approach to all sales activities, ensuring that efforts are fine-tuned across the relevant business verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering on a compelling and ambitious growth strategy
- Scaling the existing SEA business in line with this strategy, and delivering the ARR targets
- Ensuring that the funnel economics are there to drive and support this growth
- Establishing frequent and clear communication with Aleta Planet leadership team
- Overall, doing all the right things to rocket fuel the thrust in new markets
- Enhancing brand awareness and building company as a trusted payment partner for SMB/s
- Leveraging marketing initiatives, partnerships, and promotions to increase brand visibility
- Improving self-service capabilities
- Guiding the business towards a mid-market, product-led growth (PLG) driven sales approach
- Shaping and delivering company growth strategy in SEA & new markets
- Delivering the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and revenue targets
- Leveraging existing human capital talent pool in company, which currently consists of team members across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Customer Implementations to deliver hyper growth
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Generating revenue growth from new and existing customers
- Developing and implementing a rigorous, data-driven approach to sales activities
- Fine-tuning our efforts across relevant product verticals
- Engaging in effective communication with peers, and the wider business to provide local insights and support strategic initiatives
- Actively participating in key decision-making processes in order to best position company in the growth markets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a GM, Managing Director or regional leader for a B2B business (essential)
- Proven business domain knowledge of the SEA, South Asian payments landscape, including strong industry connects with banks, payment processors, card networks and SMB clients in multiple markets.
- Exceptional sales and GTM expertise, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Previous success developing GTM strategies for SMB and Mid-Market customers
- Exceptional leadership skills
