We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Waiter/Waitress Supervisor. As a restaurant manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership:Lead, motivate, and supervise waitstaff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Provide guidance and training to new and existing team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly.
Customer Service Excellence:Oversee the front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for customers.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
Set and maintain high standards for customer service among the waitstaff.
Operational Efficiency:Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Implement and enforce restaurant policies and procedures.
Training and Development:Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills of the waitstaff.
Keep the team informed about menu changes, specials, and promotions.
Shift Management:Schedule and organize staff rotations to cover peak business hours effectively.
Ensure that opening and closing procedures are followed meticulously.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a supervisory or lead capacity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Certification in hospitality or relevant field is a plus.
