Main Responsibilities
- Participate in annual ocean and air freight negotiation
- Daily effective communication with internal and external parties
- Prepare monthly volume tonnage, KPI and performance evaluation report.
- Shipping Market Analysis
- Provide operation solutions and cost savings activities
- Expect to lead a team and not only to provide supervisory function but also able to transfer knowhow to the team members
Requirements
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in any disciplines with 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding or MNC involved in logistics related role
- Experience and knowledge of shipping and logistics related activities are essential.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power point and Word
- Good Communication and presentation skills
- Able to work under high pressure and meeting tight timeline.
- Mature, honest, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to travel and work at irregular hour (occasionally)
