The Operations Manager will be a member in BZ Book, reporting to the General Manager of SKGCS. Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage petrochemical aromatics operations, including but not limited to the supply chain of physical petrochemical related movements from origin to destination
- Manage and coach junior staff to review commodity contracts and transportation agreements
- Support credit management function, including requesting/ managing Letters of Credit or prepayments where necessary
- Develop and maintain professional and cordial relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaising with Seoul HQ and Shanghai branch office to ensure smooth operations
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Candidate Profile
A self-motivated individual who value integrity, has a positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent, create happiness and value to stakeholders. A strong candidate should possess the following competencies:
- Degree in Business, Business Management or other relevant qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience preferably in petrochemical industry
- Knowledge of physical cargo operation, L/C etc Credit Doc operation
- Strongly knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Highly motivated and organized individual who exhibits strong integrity, work ethics and ability to perform under pressure
- Meticulous, analytical, fast learner and able to multi-task
- Effective team player with excellent oral and written communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
