Job responsibilities
- Study and review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and other requirements
- Cost estimation of tender by estimating quantity of materials and other cost variables
- Prepare tender submissions, handle progress claims, VO & finalization of accounts
- Keep track and update on changes of costs for projects
- Attend site meetings with clients when required
- Progress reporting to manager
- Billing and invoicing of projects
- Work closely with project manager to ensure all the cost is aligned
- Manage project insurance to ensure complete risk coverage
- Other quantity surveyor duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree / Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveyor / Architectural, Building Construction Management or equivalent
- Actively keep supervisor and team members up-to-date on work and pending projects to ensure alignment
- Exhibit tactfulness, diplomacy and respect in dealing with other team members
- Be able to adapt decisions based on new and changing information
- Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
