Responsibilities:
• Supervise receiving, storing, packing and issuing inventory; timely deliveries of inbound and outbound freights/shipments/land transportation.
• Plan for storage of incoming and outgoing inventory and ensure materials and transportation are efficiently and economically coordinated.
• Coordinate with custom broker for customs declaration commodity inspections and resolve any shipment issues.
• Responsible for all export operations and documentation and dealing with forwarders and suppliers.
• Establish and ensure adherence to schedules, budgets, work plans and performance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to contractually agreed specifications and standards including accreditation/class bodies and liaise with such accreditation bodies if required.
• Ensure proper gathering and distribution of all records, forms and reports pertaining to the receipt, storage, movement and control of equipment and materials.
• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Accountable for the management of inventory in ERP - ensuring proper system setup, process controls and efficient and accurate transactional processing.
• Conduct yearly and periodic inventory audits and cycle count to ensure stock accuracy and integrity.
• Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Requirements
• Minimum 5-year experience, preferably in similar capacity and industry.
• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing Management or a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office skills and ERP systems.
• Meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task.
• Good interpersonal, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift operating licence will be advantageous.
