Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full sets of accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
- Ensure accurate and updated reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain management schedules.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports for analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI qualification or equivalent
- At least 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably from shipping industry.
- Proficient utilizing Navision is an added advantage.
