Accounts Executive

Polystone (singapore) Pte Ltd

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day accounting activities within the entity. We're looking for a dynamic individual with strong competencies and technical skills. You are someone who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent time management and organizational skills and are motivated to learn and grow in your role.


Key Competencies:

  • Listens actively, shares information clearly and communicate effectively through both oral and written communication.
  • Team player who can work collaboratively with people and teams within the business and with external parties.
  • Ability to identify, communicate and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Meticulous in recording accounting entries correctly and completely, ensuring accuracy in financial reports. Good understanding of accounting, taxation and other statutory compliance requirements applied to your work.
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial data and provide explanation and communicate insights.
  • Able to organise work to be completed according to deadlines, multitask, organise and good time management. Ability to handle high volumes and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable: Invoicing & Collections
  • Accounts Payable: Record supplier/consultant invoices & payments
  • General Ledger & Fixed Asset: Journals, reconciliations, month-end closing
  • Statutory: GST, CPF & any other indirect tax returns, audit, tax, and corporate secretarial matters
  • Liaise with project team, customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents & bankers
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in accounting & finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Experience in MYOB accounting system would be an advantage
