How youʼll make an impact

With the primary goal of leading a high performing, motivated and hungry team, you will be responsible for the successful growth, development and everyday management of a blended team across a variety of roles, in a complex and ambiguous environment. Your love of people, all things business and a commercial mindset are the foundations on which youʼll guide, coach and mentor your team to ensure we deliver outstanding partner and customer experiences, deliver against key financial metrics and subsequently drive results for Xero.


What youʼll do

● Drive performance, culture, and an inspiring environment

● Significant time spent in field coaching team members and developing best practice to identify and sell the Xero value proposition to partners and customers to grow subscribers

● Monitor and coach team members, feeding back to individuals to support their continuing development and ensure all are adopting best practice to support repeatable activities

● Hands on in sales execution and relationship management of accounting and bookkeeping partners (“partners”) and customers in Asia, with a focus on long term customer value

● Sales management including planning, forecasting and execution and building a healthy business

● CRM discipline within the team - ensure data health hygiene with all leads, opportunities and customer communications

● Problem solve and troubleshoot to find ways to get things done

● Work closely with your manager and global teams to roll out global initiatives and provide feedback where necessary to allow for regional nuance

● Be the point of escalation when there is an aggrieved partner or customer needing leadership attention

● Contribute to and drive the go-to-market strategy for Asia

● Building effective relationships and influencing teams and individuals that support the sales team

● Work with team members to ensure all have appropriate and up to date product knowledge

● Performance reviews and development for all team members

● Speaking at events and building brand awareness to promote Xero and generate leads for the team

● Work closely with the Head of Sales for Asia to support and execute on initiatives

● Successfully managing a blended sales team

● Leadership engagement and feedback

● Quality coaching

● Achievement of sales/financial metrics and KPIʼs (activity and calls targets)

● Team Engagement (measured through employee NPS)

● Successful recruitment and onboarding of new starters and retention of team members

Experience

● Successful track record of planning and rolling out go-to-market strategies

● Preference for strong market knowledge in SaaS and exposure to high growth environments in Asia
