Job Description:
We are expanding the team by recruiting talented, highly motivated researcher/engineer in visual and image sensor. Candidate should meet requirements below with passion in solving problems for significant potential and impact. Successful candidate will join a team to conduct responsibilities as described here. As a research engineer, he/she will work with internal and external teams to assure that sufficient and correct testing is implemented at all stages to guarantee performance. He/She will be exploring and developing emerging visual sensing technologies and image sensors as well as algorithms of fusion sensing data.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct analytic studies of CMOS image sensor’s fundamental performance issue and provide technical suggestions of improvement
· Research on the state-of-the-art visual sensing technologies and image sensor
· Work with analog and digital engineers to validate chip and system level performance and prototyping development
· Develop scientific approaches to characterize the performance of various image sensor, and collect and analyse R&D test data
· Conduct modeling and simulation of image sensors
· Interact with product engineers for image sensor quality and reliability evaluation
Requirements
· PhD degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Vision, or related fields
· Hands-on experience with modern semiconductor process technology. Assembly process experience is a plus
· You will have a deep understanding of CMOS image sensor and pixel technologies
· Ability to use contemporary and industry standard process monitoring tools to statistically evaluate the performance of a manufacturing cell or module
· Ability to define simulations and work with physicists in realizing realistic simulations of new ideas
· Strong device physics, excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work closely with others in a very cross-functional team environment
· Demonstrated success with several designs fabricated in modern cutting-edge foundries or captive fabs
· Experience developing sensor specifications and working with new sensor development
· Experience working with modern Machine Learning algorithms, specifically Deep Convolutional or Recurrent Neural Networks will be a plus
· Familiarity with the emerging Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies will be a plus
· High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving skills
