Job Type: Perm Full-time, Hybrid, Mondays to Fridays Office Hours
First Konnection is searching for passionate and innovative educators to join this dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing a curriculum on one of the followings: Gamified STEM, Coding & Robotics, Social Sciences (e.g. Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, & Sociology) with a focus on hands-on, interest-driven, and project-based experiences. You will collaborate with colleagues to create an engaging and interactive learning environment that inspires students to explore and discover.
In this role, you will:
- Develop, plan, and continually refine engaging curriculum on one of the followings: Gamified STEM, Coding & Robotics, Social Sciences (e.g. Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, & Sociology) that aligns with our client's unique educational philosophy.
- Captivate students through innovative and interactive teaching methods, fostering a love for the subject.
- Design and teach lessons that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative learning, empowering students to become effective team players.
- Provide insightful assessments and feedback to ensure student progress and achievement.
- Cultivate a nurturing learning environment that empowers students to discover their passions and interests.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to stay abreast of the latest educational trends and best practices.
To be successful, you will possess:
- Preferably 3 years of experience teaching one of the following Subjects: Gamified STEM, Coding & Robotics, Social Sciences (e.g. Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Political Science, Psychology, & Sociology) to MOE Secondary School Students or, Students within Tertiary Education, or Middle and/or High school students in an International School.
- A student-centered educational philosophy that prioritizes cultivating curiosity and a love of learning over rote memorization.
- A contagious passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and innovative learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
