Responsibilities
1. Casework and counselling
- Develop, implement and follow up on case plans and interventions
- Engage clients and significant others in a therapeutic manner to understand their needs
2. Advocate for vulnerable individuals and families, collaborating with community partners to ensure access to equal opportunities.
3. Participate in client and community assessments, group work processes, and specialized interventions to address specific needs.
4. Community Networking and Outreach
- Network and collaborate with stakeholders including outreach, needs assessment, and developing and executing relevant programmes and services
5. Programme Development and Research
- Identify service gaps in response to client needs and make recommendations to improve programmes
- Participate and support relevant research
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Graduate Diploma in Social Work, or related disciplines.
- 1 to 3 years of related experience in social work or counseling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage caseload effectively
