What You’ll Do
- Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, VBScript and other tools as necessary
- Automate testing of desktop applications and web applications
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and functionality
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality
- Utilize testing frameworks and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application functionality and requirements
- Identify, report and track defects and inconsistencies in software applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testing engineers
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of testing engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance and professional growth
What Will Make You Shine
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation
- Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Java, VBScript and macro scripting.
- Experience with automating desktop applications
- Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
