Stretch Therapist is responsible for providing specialized stretching sessions and techniques to clients to improve flexibility, range of motion, and alleviate muscle tension. They work with individuals from various ages and physical abilities to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment: Conduct assessments to understand clients' needs, limitations, and goals.
- Develop Customized Plans: Create personalized stretching routines based on individual assessments and goals.
- Perform Stretching Sessions: Lead one-on-one or group stretching sessions using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Educate Clients: Provide guidance on proper stretching techniques, posture, and home exercises.
- Monitor Progress: Track clients' progress and adjust/stretching routines accordingly.
- Collaborate with Other Professionals: Coordinate with physiotherapists, trainers, or healthcare providers for comprehensive client care.
Requirements:
- Certification in stretch therapy or related field (if applicable).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt stretching techniques to suit individual client needs.
- Previous experience in fitness training, physical therapy, or a related field (preferred).
