- Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and safety compliance of all raw materials, processes and final products. Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Ensure the hygiene and cleanliness and safety of the food production facilities.
- Address and ensure timely response to any quality and safety issues. Make recommendations for improvement.
- Identify, prepare and implement food quality and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain all food quality and safety records and ISO documents are up-to-date. Prepare audit reports. Ensure compliance with all audit requirements by relevant regulatory and certification bodies.
- Liaise with government or statutory bodies and external auditor(s) to comply with the food quality standards and safety regulations.
- Identify the relevant training, create training materials and train staff on food safety and hygiene.
- Support other duties as assigned.
- Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role, preferably in F&B industry
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, preferably ISO 22000 and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Strong communication skills, writing and interpersonal skills
- Excellent data collection and analytical skills
- Organized and strong attention to detail
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist would be an added advantage
