Job Description
A. The General Manager (Development) will review the current state of NSC with the view to:
i. Optimise the use of the land
ii. Enhance the customer experience
iii. Improve the relationship with the public along the perimeter of the property, especially along the waterfront edge
iv. Improve the programmatic use of the buildings for better oversight of operations
v. Create development opportunities for revenue generation (events/activation, rental space, concessions/F&B)
B. The General Manager (Development) will also be responsible for
i. The interim relocation of NSC (during the Long Island construction). This should involve
a. Site and baseline assessment
b. Engagement with government agencies
c. Formal submission to government agencies
ii. The permanent relocation of NSC (post-Long Island reclamation). This will involve site selection in consultation with and approvals from government agencies.
Candidate Experience
C. The candidate is expected to have the following experience:
i. Qualifications and experience in urban design/urban planning and architecture
ii. Experience with regeneration and transformative design work
iii. Experience in development of performance sports, Olympic sports facilities
iv. Extensive experience in working with government agencies, in particular URA, SLA, NParks, and MPA.
