Purpose:
Supervise and coordinate flange management in module fabrication and integration yards.
Supervise, Implement, Monitor, report and coordinate with leak test contractor. Witness and execute leak test to a successful conclusion. Manage and oversee any repairs.
Requirements:
Accountable for setting up and implementing Project Flange management program and supervising and guiding Leak Test contractor up to and including successful commissioning phase of the project.
- Review and monitor contractor’s flange management training program.
- Ensure all data is uploaded into the FM control spreadsheet.
- Ensure all information in FM control is accurate and complete.
- Ensure all FM tools and equipment are maintained and have valid calibration certificates where required.
- Monitor and witness flange assemblies.
- Monitor and witness flange tightening, (Correct method, and torque values.)
- Maintain flange management reporting, status, and control.
- Oversee and record any repairs to flanges.
- All applicable FM ITR’s are being completed and recorded.
- Review Leak test contractor’s documentation and procedures.
- Review Leak test packs prepared by contractor.
- Ensure correct preparation and limits as per approved leak test pack.
- Identification of necessary tools, test equipment, consumables and they are maintained, and valid calibration certificates are available where required.
- Assist and prepare PTW for each phase of Leak Testing including pressurization, de-pressurization and any repair/rectification works. Attend and oversee tool box talks prior to start of each activity/leak test.
- Prior to testing all barricades, signage and exclusion zone notifications are communicated and distributed.
- Oversee, witness and record Leak Tests,
- Advise if leaks require repairs or can be moved and added to witness point register.
- Advise and coordinate any repairs.
- Coordinate re-scheduling of any leak tests.
- Report progress and concern issues to the assigned project Test Engineer,
- Capture any specific lessons learned and report to leak test engineer for corrective actions.
- Shall comply with company / yard safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Familiar with Permit -To-Work system and Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum High school or technical college certificate.
- Certification in a Trade Certification with track record of construction of at least 3 FPSO project with module fabrication, integration of marine and topside modules.
- High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) is an advantage.
- Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion and General computer literacy (MS office).
- Commitment to take responsibility.
- General supervisory experience particularly in people management is essential.
