JOB REQUIREMENT / RESPONSIBILITIES
Role:
· In charge of daily Logistic inbound / outbound related coordination activities.
· Monitor outbound shipment schedule to customers, prepare necessary shipping documents, coordinate with drivers / freight forwards to ensure on time delivery to customers.
· Buyoff supplier inbound shipments. Verify items, quantity and good condition before acceptance and sign off suppliers’ documents.
· Handle other Logistic related system transactions for internal activities (i.e., FG / RM transactions)
Responsibilities:
· Back up Logistics Specialist for Logistics activities if needed.
· Verify shipments quantity during buy-off with forwarders (cargoes tally job)
· Maintain daily transaction document filings for traceability / audit purposes.
· Ensure timely system update, transaction integrity and accuracies are maintained at all times.
· Follow-up with forwarders/couriers for shipment clearance / queries / verification / errors / other related matters.
· Work with IQC on suppliers’ inbound shipment buyoff to store.
· Maintain 5S and workplace safety by abiding to safety rules, report to superior for any risk / potential risk on warehouse / safety issues. for any risk / potential risk on warehouse / safety issues.
· Carry out other assign tasks by superior from time to time.
EDUCATION / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
· Minimum GCE ‘O’ level
KEY REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
· 2 years’ experience in shipping or logistics related industries
· Proficient in Microsoft office, Oracle knowledge is added advantage.
· Familiar with incoterms and forwarder coordination
· Able to work with minimum supervision, possess good Interpersonal skills
