• To superintend all technical and safety matters concerning Company vessels and to implement the technical and safety policies of the Company on these vessels.
• Examining vessel's machinery spaces with reference to cleanliness and the progress of maintenance by the ship's staff.
• Advising the Master and Chief Engineer of planned maintenance and maintenance work to be carried out by the ship's staff
• Monitor and renew the ship’s certificates.
• Preparation of additional proposal for new regulations fulfilment, if necessary, with the approval of Regulatory Authority or Recognised Organization.
• Ensure ship is able to fulfil the regulations as above.
• Ensure compliance with TMSA elements
• Report to the Shipping Manager regarding operational issues.
• Maintain and monitor all crew’s manning license, training records and sign on/ off arrangements.
• Maintain MOM/ MPA accounts with regards to the renewal and applications of crew work permit.
• Manage the administrative processes for working inventory, defect reporting and rectification, BOU consumption reports and requisitions for supplies & ship spares.
• Address and resolve outstanding observations from audits.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel.
• Collaborate effectively as a team member.
• Take a proactive approach and work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines to achieve targets.
• Working experience in marine bunkering
