Responsibilities
- Gross margin optimization: optimize gross margin for responsible Trade services.
- ROI achievement: achieve targeted ROI for responsible Trade services.
- Pricing strategy: strategize pricing policy based on seasonality, competitive environment to support desired financial target.
- Optimum cargo flow and marketing mixed: analyze and strategically manage BSA and marketing mix upgrade in order to deliver and exceed financial target.
- Service enhancement: conduct service study in order to enhance existing service or to propose new service.
- Service integrity: co-ordinate with service management team and locations to ensure integrity of service.
- Initiatives in improving profitability of the service through various actions i.e. RR, new surcharges, BSA/cargo mix adjustment, cost reduction, etc.
- Coach and guide team members with the goal of upgrading their knowledge/ability.
Requirement
- Degree qualification in maritime studies/logistics/business/economics.
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience in container shipping with supervisory/team lead function.
- Candidate should be equipped with good numeracy and analytical skills.
- Candidate must be meticulous with details, possess positive learning attitude and able to cope with fast pace working environment.
- Proficient in MS Excel (Vlookup/ Pivot Table) will be preferred.
