Job Responsibilities
- Grow the Regional's air and ocean freight business/services, in accordance with the sales strategy on a specified tradelane.
- Continuously monitor the trade lane performance against the budget and development plan
- Initiate Sales Campaigns in cooperation with partnering Countries
- Identify areas for business growth and suggest for possible initiatives to drive volume
- Identify desired customer segments and freight characteristics in order to formulate business strategies
- Work with Countries on customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals to drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability
- Perform market intelligence activities, e.g. pricing, market positioning, service development, prospect identification
- Support air & ocean procurement on the specified tradelane
Requirements
- Minimum degree in Business Management/ Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales with prior experience in Trade Lane managerial exposure in Freight Forwarding industrie
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; proven ability to work with a diverse team and influence and drive change across functional and business boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly growing and dynamic changing environment
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
