Salary: S$3,000-S$3,800
Responsibilities:
- Interpret samples, drawings, or instructions to understand specifications and convert them into computer commands for machine operations.
- Configure the machine according to the CNC program for precise machining.
- Conduct a test run to verify that machine outputs meet specifications.
- Operate machines to complete full production cycles, fabricating large quantities of parts.
- Collaborate with the QA team to meet production and quality objectives.
- Assist engineers in selecting equipment, raw materials, and consumables.
- Adhere to and report deviations from workplace safety and health standards.
- Maintain 5S housekeeping practices and ensure safety precautions are consistently followed.
Requirements:
- Must have a Professional Certificate / NITEC in machining or a technical school qualification in machining.
- Ideally, at least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment for those without technical training.
- At least 1 year of experience in the Precision Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in reading part drawings and using measuring equipment is essential.
- Knowledge of mechanical drawing and fabrication techniques.
- Relevant experience in Precision Engineering.
- Proficiency in CNC programming with MasterCAM.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
