About the role
We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to provide analytical and presentation support to the Senior Manager of Book management. The Specialist will collate and report the relevant market trends that have iron ore price negotiation implications. This includes monitoring, interpreting, analyzing, and summarising price-sensitive material on an ongoing basis.
This role is a great opportunity for an assertive individual who is interested in building the base skillsets across multiple areas and priming themselves for specialization/growth in the future.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Book management, you will:
- Maintain and update the pricing database.
- Prepare monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, and annual pricing packs.
- Track competitors' pricing and spot activities to generate quality insights.
- Provide recommendations on pricing mandates that support RT in maximizing the value of our products.
- Evaluate and analyze pricing mechanisms/indices as required.
- Provide support for pricing-related projects and initiatives.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related disciplines.
- At least 2-3 years of progressive experience across market analysis, research, or sales and marketing-related
- Experienced in a bulk commodity environment.
- Strong analytical skills, in tandem with presentation abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
