Key Responsibilities:
- Scientific Guidance and Strategy:
- Provide the company with scientific guidance on current and future projects to diversify and optimize its portfolio.
- Validate new hypotheses in immunotherapy and provide strategic guidance to the R&D team regarding in vitro and in vivo preclinical experiments.
- Participate in the clinical trial design and discussions with clinicians to improve clinical outcomes.
- Identify new strategies and projects and establish partnerships with academic institutions or clinical centers to evaluate new concepts and methods.
2. Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of R&D projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing R&D team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
4. Collaboration and Networking:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic institutions, clinical centers, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at scientific conferences, meetings, and other industry events.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments and with external partners. 5. Regulatory Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documents and reports.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all research activities and findings.
5. Innovation and Technology Transfer:
- Drive innovation by identifying and incorporating emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Oversee the transfer of research findings into practical applications and product development.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, techniques, and approaches to enhance research efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Post-doctoral experience in a relevant area is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in immunotherapy research and development.
- Experience in preclinical and clinical trial design and execution.
- Deep understanding of immunotherapy, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
- Proficiency in in vitro and in vivo experimental techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for R&D activities.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
