BROAD FUNCTION
To plan and support programmes / activities for residents Ren Ci @Ang Mo Kio, manage partners and volunteers, and manage donations to Ren Ci.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with Community Engagement Department at corporate HQ to spearhead and expand volunteer base and community engagement through partnership strategies, outreach, and relationship building with corporations, foundations, schools/tertiary institutions, groups and individuals.
- Plan, organise, coordinate and set up for programmes and activities with various stakeholders - internal departments, partners, and volunteers of our Nursing Home (NH) and Senior Care Centre (SCC).
- Develop engagement plan/strategy, and execute the necessary engagement and management of partners and volunteers.
- Plan, administer, and provide volunteer training, as required.
- Provide the necessary administrative and logistical support to the volunteers and partners for the organisation and execution of the programme/activity.
- Manage and update the database of volunteers in regularly and provide updates on the database as required by Executive Director.
- Take and monitor the attendance of Ren Ci’s volunteers.
- Conduct survey and feedback sessions, if required.
- Support the development and execution of publicity/communication plans and collaterals for Ren Ci @Ang Mo Kio.
- Conduct outreach to potential partners and community groups to seek collaborations and partnership.
- Manage donations and donations-in-kind. All collections received should be properly accounted for and promptly deposited.
- Supervise and manage daily administrative functions.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, statistics and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Organise or assist in welfare activities as and when necessary
- Drive innovation and work improvement initiatives
- Perform any other duties, including those in support of building operations (eg as fire warden etc), as and when assigned by the Executive Director
Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Recognised degree in any fields; or
- Recognised diploma in any fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience
EXPERIENCE
- Fresh/recent degree graduates, with a passion for bringing joy to seniors, are welcomed to apply; or
- Diploma graduates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in events/programmes planning and execution, partnership development, volunteer management, or equivalent.
SKILLS
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to connect and communicate with a wide spectrum of people – colleagues, grassroots, corporates/organisations/institutions.
- Ability to represent the organisation well when reaching out to and managing volunteers.
- Ability to work independently to deliver the required outcomes while being an excellent team player.
- Meticulous and pro-active with strong administration, leadership and project management skill.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Able to adapt and use different software applications.
- Good oral and written English.
