Our client, a leading global insurer, is seeking talented Actuarial Analysts to join their dynamic GI & Health Actuarial team on a 1-year contract basis (convertible!). Key Responsibilities
As part of the GI & Health Actuarial team, you will:
- Execute Various Actuarial Tasks: IFRS17 implementation, reviewing actuarial assumptions for reserving, preparing data used for financial reporting, and business planning through data analysis and insights.. & more!
- Conversion and Optimization: Lead the efforts in converting existing Python scripts and processes to Google Big Query SQL, optimizing for performance and scalability.
- Participate in System Migration Projects: Contribute to the seamless migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the transition.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience: At least 1 year of relevant P&C / Health insurance experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and Google Big Query SQL. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
- Data-savvy and excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexibility: Candidates with shorter notice periods are preferred for smoother onboarding and integration
