WTT PARTNERSHIPS SALES MANAGER
We are seeking a highly motivated Partnerships Sales Manager to grow our sponsorship sales globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Commercial Partnerships Director to drive World Table Tennis’s revenue growth through the development of key agency and brand relationships, as well as the execution of effective sponsorship sales strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Commercial Partnerships Director in executing the local commercial roadmap with the goal of bringing brands into the world of Table Tennis.
- Manage and procure potential WTT partners through personal contacts and other sales tools.
- Develop, contact, approach and identify key decision makers and influencers across target businesses, selecting and qualifying prospects based on detailed research.
- Work with WTT Commercial Partnerships Director to create attractive commercial packages tailored to local markets to attract companies to partner with WTT to achieve their marketing and commercial needs.
- Build and lead the pipeline and sales cycle, prepare creative partner presentations, develop strong brand relationships, and ultimately negotiate favourable commercial partnerships that align with the overall commercial strategy.
- Any other duties as required by Line Manager and Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in sponsorship sales / agency / marketing / sales.
- Significant & demonstrable experience working in a multinational, commercial sport & entertainment, or other relevant industries.
- Possess strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Able to work independently and in a team in a cross functional environment under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to informed sponsorship sales decisions.
- Possess strong communication skills including but not limited to writing, editing and presentation etc.
- Thrives in a challenging, face paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, highly organized and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Possess commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Willingness to travel for global events (40% travel).
Desirable:
- Passion for sport and business;
- Ability to work in multiple languages, with a preference in South East Asian Languages
