Adecco is partnering with a leading global freight forwarding company, specializing in air & ocean freight services. We are searching for a dynamic Business Development Executive to drive the expansion of the company's customer base and build strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
The Job:
- Increase revenue and foster good relationships with existing clients.
- Generate new leads via cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and new clientele.
- Regularly follow up with clients to promote upselling and enhance retention.
- Effectively communicate with customers, shippers, and receivers regarding changes to pickup/delivery and potential service disruptions.
- Report customer issues to management.
- Submit comprehensive activity reports detailing daily, weekly, and monthly sales efforts.
- Implement and oversee strategic objectives to optimize sales, profitability, and achieve or surpass sales targets.
- Engage in contract negotiations and rate agreements.
The Talent:
- Relevant sales or business development experience is required.
- Experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry would be advantageous.
