- Responsible for the day-to-day facilities and maintenance operations of existing facilities.
- Facilitate and ensure contractors/vendors complete repair and maintenance work to required timelines and standards.
- Participating in new built project, assist in project management role during the design, tender, construction and post construction stages of the projects.
- Participate in design specifications and prototype workshops, and coordinate the user acceptance test, user training, user change management, pre-implementation preparation and post-implementation support activities.
- Knowledge of using computer aided management software in facilities maintenance.
- Coordinate, supervise and assist in major renovations, additions and alterations works, capital replacement works and the like to successful completion.
- Coordinate work as necessary with other departments to minimize inconvenience to operations, anticipate safety problems and operating expenses.
- Managing of outsource vendors and contractors including tracking and feedback of their performance and quality of services.
- Facilitate the supervision of operation staffs, through training and guidance. Planning and overseeing the manpower deployment (roster and scheduling) of staff in the department.
- Participate in Fire Safety management, training and exercises. Assist to set up and maintain the CERT teams for all the branches.
Qualification
- Holds a Diploma/Degree in Facilities/Building Management/Engineering or a relevant field.
- Min 2 to 3 years of Facilities magement experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage
