You will be part of the Corporate Development Division in KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) tasked to provide the full suite of HR services spanning the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, payroll, performance management to learning and development to support the organisation’s manpower needs. You will partner with business groups to develop and implement HR programmes and services that are critical towards achieving KSL’s vision, mission and strategic thrusts.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, including data input, calculation of wages, deductions and taxes.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, allowances, and other payroll-related payments.
- Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Keep updated on employment legislation, tax regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Prepare payroll-related reports for management, government agencies, and auditors as required.
- Participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives as needed. Eg: Payroll module in HRIS
- Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of payroll data and information.
- Participate in annual budgeting exercise.
- Review and improve HR workflow, policies and procedures.
- Develop and review career development pathways to facilitate staff development opportunities.
Competencies required
Functional/Technical Competencies
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the area of Human Resource
- Preferably a Degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Business or related disciplines, or with relevant HR experience.
- Knowledge of the Singapore labour laws and related legislations e.g. Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), CPF Act, etc., would be advantageous
- Up to date with the latest HR analytics and digitalisation tools in the HR space to support HR planning and enhance HR functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
