Job Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of current IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Evaluate existing architectures and propose strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with business objectives. Identify emerging technologies and trends that can drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Develop solution architecture designs and blueprints that align with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and guidelines. Ensure that proposed solutions meet business requirements, scalability needs, and security standards.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices. Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure adherence to architectural guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and assess architectural risks associated with proposed solutions and technology initiatives. Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure the security, reliability, and integrity of IT systems and data.
- Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Facilitate workshops, presentations, and discussions to communicate architectural concepts, principles, and decisions.
- Evaluate third-party products and services to assess their alignment with enterprise architecture standards and requirements. Participate in vendor selection processes and provide recommendations based on architectural considerations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize enterprise architecture processes, tools, and methodologies. Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and improve overall efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Solid organization and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in modelling and graphic representations
- Knowledge of office productivity software (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- BSc in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- Ability to use data to analyse and draw conclusion
- Ability to solve problems effectively
- Knowledge of architectural methodologies and frameworks is a plus
- Work experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role is a plus
- TOGAF certification is a plus(Open Group Architecture Framework)
