Requirements:
- Minimally 3 years of experience in Precision Engineering industry
- Preferably with 3 years of related work experience in manufacturing environment for non-technical trained staff.
- Able to read part drawing, usage of measuring equipment
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output and translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
- Setup the machine in accordance with the CNC program for machining
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts
- Assist engineer in determining equipment, raw materials and consumables
- Comply, enforce and report deviances in workplace safety and health requirements with organizational procedure
- Ensure 5S housekeeping and safety precautions are always taken care of
