Our client is a prominent global IT management service provider, specializing in custom software design and development, IT consultancy, infrastructure management, and maintenance services for businesses and organizations. By delivering effective IT solutions and support, they help eliminate IT challenges, optimize resources, boost productivity, and facilitate scalability.
They are expanding and currently in search of a Linux Performance Engineer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborate with other teams to offer proactive input on design and implementation to ensure optimal performance.
· Develop and execute performance test scripts, documenting test results for Go/No-Go decision-making.
· Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using cloud-native ecosystem tools.
· Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in collaboration with other teams.
· Fine-tune the runtime environment for optimal performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Stay updated with the latest technology trends and have the ability to self-learn new technologies.
· Proficient in Linux shell scripting and operations.
· Skilled in Linux kernel configuration and optimization.
· Experience in tuning large-scale distributed systems, including virtualization and containerization.
· Proficient in using profiling tools such as perf or VTune.
· Skilled in using tracing tools such as bpftrace and SystemTap.
· Experience in generating flame graphs for on-CPU and off-CPU analysis.
