Job description

Position: Bookkeeper with Administrative Duties

Location: Woodlands

Responsibilities:

General Bookkeeping/Accountancy:

  • Undertake general accounting duties, including verification and data entry tasks.

Sales:

  • Reconcile monthly sales collections and conduct revenue reconciliation against bank statements.
  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all recorded revenues and expenses.
  • Follow up with customers and internal stakeholders regarding outstanding receivables.

Payable:

  • Process timely payments to suppliers and conduct reconciliations of Statements of Account (SOA).
  • Dispatch all payments to suppliers promptly.
  • Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding outstanding payables.

Bank / Cash:

  • Record receipts, perform cash application and allocation, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee companies' petty cash management, including reimbursement top-ups and float.

Financial Reporting:

  • Submission of IR8A annually.
  • Prepare quarterly GST submission to IRAS.
  • Provide necessary documentations for Auditor for financial year closing.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute salaries and CPF at the end of the month.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • SPM or STPM for Malaysian or a Diploma in a relevant field (preferred).

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 year experience in both administrative and accounts executive roles.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Mon-Fri: 0800-1730
  • Sat: 0830-1230
