Job Description :
- Communicate and share the Japan HQ’s company's EHS policy, EHS action plan, EHS Management System, etc. to S.E.A. and India subsidiaries.
- Monitor and support the status of EHS activities (according to EHS action plan) at targeted subsidiaries in S.E.A. and India regions, and report the results to Japan HQ E&S Dept.
- To support establishment of management systems at targeted subsidiaries in S.E.A. and India regions based on the group environment and safety management system.
- To conduct periodic EHS audits to targeted subsidiaries in S.E.A. and India companies in the region base on the audit plan.
- Compile and report the results of periodic EHS audits and self-audits by targeted subsidiaries in S.E.A. and India region to Japan HQ E&S Dept. Additionally, to monitor the improvement status in response to items highlighted during audits.
- Support and provide guidance to affected subsidiaries in the region to investigate the causes of accidents and formulate plans to prevent recurrence. To submit accident/disaster reports to Japan HQ E&S Dept.
- Investigate and analyse trends in accidents in the region, and report the results to Japan HQ E&S Dept.
- Conduct EHS Forums for targeted subsidiaries in the region.
- To build and continuously improve the environment and safety functions at SEA-RHQ.
- Recruit and train human resources (local staff) to carry out environment and safety operations at SEA-RHQ.

- Possess good coaching skills to develop its stakeholders, guiding them toward reaching their full potential and aligning their skills in meeting EHS group objectives.
- Possess investigation/research, information gathering, analysis, planning ability.
- Knowledge of regional countries' legislation in relation to environment and safety.
- Knowledge of machine safety, chemical substance management, work environment management, and management systems e.g. ISO14001/45001.
- Possess experience as a safety assessor.
