Responsibilities
- Examine and perform troubleshooting & maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Repairing of electrical equipment and replacing malfunctioning components
- Assembling new electrical components and equipment
- Using hand tools for fixing wires and electrical appliances
- Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
- Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations
- Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans
- Coordinate and supervise the in day-to-day activities
- Reviewing and ordering of supplies and parts
- Adhering to the safety protocols while performing daily operations
- Testing installed electrical equipment
- Addressing any customer complaints and service requests
- Reviewing and communicating approximate work completion timelines to clients
- Undertaking regular maintenance checks and inspections
- Providing time and material cost estimates before starting a job
- Keeping abreast of advancements in the field and attending workshops as required
- Other tasks assigned as needed
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working as an electrical technician
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
- Proficient with manual and power tools
- Familiar with work requirements and safety regulations
