Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Audit Specialist, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive IT audits, meticulously assessing IT risks and controls pertaining to the Company's IT systems.
- Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements from governing authorities, adherence to company security policies, and internal control procedures.
- Perform reviews across various domains, including:
- Technical reviews encompassing operating systems, databases, and applications.
- Assessment of IT General Controls.
- Cybersecurity evaluations.
- Security reviews related to Network, Connectivity, and Vulnerabilities.
- Conduct Data Centre Reviews.
- Examine Business Process and Application Controls.
- Prepare and present detailed audit findings, compiling results for review by the immediate supervisor, and actively participate in the feedback process. Follow up on agreed-upon actions from previous audits.
- Be prepared for regional travel as deemed necessary.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Diploma, Degree, or Professional qualification in Computer Science, specializing in Information Systems Management or IT Security, or an equivalent field, coupled with at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Candidates currently pursuing relevant professional qualifications and fresh graduates with a keen interest in IT audit will be considered.
- Specialized audit expertise in specific IT areas, such as networks (firewalls, routers, switches, and infrastructure), operating systems (Windows, UNIX), databases (MS-SQL, Oracle), mainframe (AS/400), and client-server technology would be advantageous.
- Strong team player exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent worker with a robust analytical ability, demonstrating a high level of integrity, drive, and a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in working with PC-based applications software.
