Job Scope:
- Design goods transportation operations
- Select appropriate modes of transport and logistics services
- Coordinate with the various stakeholders
- Optimize the balance between cost, lead time, quality and carbon emissions
- Evaluate the risks associated with goods transportation and customs.
- Propose and implement procedures and measures to minimize these risks
- Control transport costs in line with the forecast budget.
- Participate in the construction and updating of the key performance and monitoring indicators.
- Coordinate the various players in the supply Chain (carriers, forwarding agents, customs agents and customers)
- Implement corrective actions in case of deviations
- Evaluate the performance of logistics and customs service providers
- Define and implement actions to monitor service quality.
- Monitor regulatory developments in the fields of transport and customs.
- Ensure compliance with customs requirements (tariff classifications, customs clearance procedures, customs documents, international trade regulations).
- Monitor the efficiency of procedures for preparing and submitting required customs documents.
- Functionally supervise international logistics technicians
- Contribute to the construction of the transport budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in project management techniques and tools
- Knowledge of international trade, purchasing, negotiation
- Knowledge of transport and customs regulations
